Our Story
After matching on a dating app back in 2017, we decided right then and there that we’d hang out forever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever...
Our wedding day will be our 3,507th day together—almost a decade! We’ve moved several times, traveled the world, completed multiple degrees, left jobs and started businesses, survived a pandemic, bought a house, taken so many pictures of Zuzu, watched the Kansas City Chiefs in 5 Super Bowls, and have been having the best time through it all.

Our first date
Michael & Alexandria met on Bumble and texted each other nonstop for two weeks. When we finally met, we had a drink at Brewery Emperial and dinner at Komatsu for a bowl of ramen. Michael snapped the "hot soup" that night photo and saved Alexandria contact info as HOT SOUP that night. To this day Ms. Hot Soup is Michael's Emergency Contact

Our first move
Michael left his full-time job to start a business, which meant much more travel. We decided to find a safer spot and move into Midtown together. This was a huge step for both of us and the first of many moves we made over the next 3 years.

Bought a home together
Both of us had lived solo for years before we met. Having a home together was something we both had always wanted but never knew if it would be possible. Supporting one another in our careers and starting two buisnesses gave us the opprotunity to have that dream. We both feel so lucky to call this house, "home".

The proposal
We started a yearly tradition in 2025—a countdown calendar for Christmas. Little trinkets and fun things in a wooden box. Alexandria didn't know that the last box had another little box inside. The plan was to have a movie date and open the last box when we got home. We left the movie early because Michael got too worked up. We didnt even make it home to open the last box. We pulled to the side of the road, and the proposal happened right then and there. The movie was fine, btw.
